Description
As a follow up to the IRC meeting (4/4/2013) it would be useful to have a build checking service which ensures the code can be built. There is an open source service called travis:

We set up Jenkins (what Travis is built on) since it can play nice with Gitorious. It was brought down when the VPS was refreshed but I will be bringing it back up next week or so (depending on when I get an account again).
