Description

Perhaps we should use http://pfefferle.github.com/openwebicons/ for any icons in MediaGoblin, how does that sound?

Using web fonts will make it easier for themers to change the color of things such as icons, etc.

Currently you might in some cases have to create a copy of a certain template to change an image icon on a page. With OpenWebFonts you could easily change at least the color.

I'm going to mark this as WONTFIX I think?

It might actually be true that some of these icons are useful to use. However, I'm having trouble with this "font" for two reasons:

  • Unclear what the license is? In fact, looks like no license, which makes it a no-go.
  • I'm not enthusiastic about dingbats/wingdings style fonts where you have characters that might be "b" and suddenly shows a "bomb" or other symbolic representations. It's really bad for accessibility because there's no alt-tag equivalent.
Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
