I think there should be some documentation for this feature (e.g.
below entry fields) to explain its functionality.

I added a description string:

change this."

Status: New → Closed 
I adjusted the string so that it says "slug" also. Not sure what
else can be done here. Marking as closed! We could add a FAQ entry
to the translations wiki in case people continue to be confused.
