#37 | FIXED | natty support
Description |
Running python setup.py develop on Ubuntu Natty doesn't work. PIL doesn't get compiled with jpeg or png support. This happens with both the virtualenv and buildout instructions. Doing a Google search leads to the following interesting urls: - `http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1751455 <http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1751455>`_ - `http://www.isnull.com.ar/2011/05/solved-python-pil-ioerror-decoder-jpeg.html <http://www.isnull.com.ar/2011/05/solved-python-pil-ioerror-decoder-jpeg.html>`_ This is a big deal because it means people using Ubuntu Natty can't run GNU MediaGoblin. |

#51 | FIXED | Handing of bad media types (html!)
Description |
Currently you can try to upload a html file. What happens currebtly? It sticks in the queue, because celery goes crazy on it. The good news: It does not end up in a public place. What should NEVER, ever happen: The file being put in a public place. It's the best XSS attack to come up with. Rating this high, because this needs to be right for security reasons. |

#58 | FIXED | Better contribution patches / branches documentation
Description |
We haven't explained now what kind of patches we want or how to push a branch for us to merge in the docs. Well, at least we haven't explained the patch part well. We should basically give an example tutorial session on how to submit a proper patch. |
