Provide Markdown formatting options rather than linking to Markdown website

When a new user is setting up their profile, the website text tells them that they can use Markdown, and links them to the Markdown website.

A better approach might be to do what Reddit does when allowing users to add basic text formatting to their comments. Reddit just has a link that says "Formatting Help," which displays text formatting options when someone clicks on it. It displays things as, "You Type" and "You See", which I think makes sense for less technical users who might not know or care much about Markdown. Just showing the formatting options would help them do what they need to do without having to review the Markdown website.
