Description
Hi Chris and friends
Several people within the Libre Software communities in México and in other Latin American countries are using the Peer Production License to protect and share their cultural digital works.
At the same time we have found of strategic importance the promotion of MediaGoblin's use among our people in order to build alternatives to data concentration and online censorship.
For that reason, we would like to propose the inclusion of the Peer Production License in the list of license options when MediaGoblin users submit and upload content to the system.
It would be great to have this enhancement available for version number 1.0, and also if possible, for current systems running on servers under production.
Thanks for the great work you all do.
Enrique Rosas

Hi Enrique,
Thanks very much for taking the time to post an issue.
I think the feature we need here is the ability for the site maintainer to easily customise the list of licenses, rather than the MediaGoblin developers extending the global list. That is proposed in issue #563.
I'll close this request for now, but I'll attach a patch you can apply to your personal installation of MediaGoblin (not the official version). To apply, download the file into you
mediagoblin
directory, then run:Regards,
