After
git clone git://gitorious.org/mediagoblin/mediagoblin.git -b stable
I got :
Cloning into 'mediagoblin'...
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

I fixed this. Gitorious broke git:// and so I switched it to https:// , so that seems okay for now.

We no longer use gitorious for hosting.

Hi vladopc, it seems that Gitorious is seeing a lot of traffic lately since announcing they've been acquired by GitLab. Please try again after some time has passed. Eventually, MediaGoblin will transition to a separate git repository.
