The button (right above the comment field) is intended for users who will have to log in to comment.

Oh, OK. When you have JavaScript disabled, it appears to be just a broken button if you are logged in.

Ah, I see. I didn't try it with JavaScript disabled. I'll assign this to me and fix it some other time. Thanks for reporting!

I don't think this says "add one" anymore.

Whether you are logged in or logged out, the button is visible.
If you are logged in and click it, the comment form slides out. If you are logged out and click it, you are sent to the log in page.
At least, this is the expected behavior and as far as I can see also the current behavior on http://www.mediagoblin.com
So, I think everything is OK here, but maybe I did not understand the ticket correctly. The "Add one" button should be visible to user that are logged in.
