#310 closed defect (wontfix)

Create Atom feed from activity entry timeline (OStatus)

Reported by: Tryggvi Björgvinsson Owned by:
Priority: minor Milestone:
Component: programming Keywords: kuneco
Cc: Parent Tickets:

Description (last modified by Christopher Allan Webber)

Create a pure atom feed from user activity entry feeds, i.e. do not
show specific OStatus/Activity Stream elements. Title, summary,
published, id and author is enough to work with to begin with.

Comply to the Atom standard and create and extensible feed
framework which is ready for the Activity Stream extensions.

Make the feed discoverable from the user profile page.

There is an atom feed present in MediaGoblin. However it only shows
the feed of media object posts. Comment posts are missing and need
to be added.

Chris: Did this land in 0.3.1? If not, do you think this will land in 0.3.2? If not, we should clear the milestone.

Milestone: 0.3.1

Yeah, it won't land by 0.3.2, milestone cleared.

Sadly I have not gotten to this anytime recently. I remember someone working on an improved atom branch but cannot remember who?

Is this still relevant now we're using the Pump API for federation?

Resolution: wontfix

Nope! Well, sorta, we'll need some better feeds when we support enclosures for podcast support, but I still think this can be closed out.
