Improve media page layout

The media pages could use a better design. There are loose ends everywhere. For instance, the media description is hard to distinguish from all the noise around it.

I'll work on this. This ticket is basically just to remind me. ;)

I really-really love how Google plus galleries look and work and behave.

They actually put the files out there with normal thumbnails (AFAIK, haven't looked too much on it) and then use javascript to have bigger versions and they make all of it fit exactly to your screen dimensions.

They also don't crop very much, they try as much as possible to make it all fit in. Very cool.

Hm... the Google Plus media galleries certainly look cool. They're also very unstructured though. I'm not sure I think they will look good across all media types... seems very photo-oriented.

Certainly agreed the media gallery page needs improvement.

I actually made this ticket for the individual image pages, not the thumbnail galleries. I wanted to sort out the styling for the image title/description/info and I'll work on that in the next few days.
