#315 | FIXED | Profile bio on user page doesn't show when website item is empty
Description |
I edited my profile info on mediagoblin.com. I put something in the "bio" field but left the "website" field empty. Result: neither of these are shown on my profile page (`http://mediagoblin.com/u/schendje/ <http://mediagoblin.com/u/schendje/>`_). Instead, it reverts to the "Here's a spot to tell others about yourself." state. What should happen: only the bio info should appear. If you only enter your website, but no bio, it works correctly and shows the website info on your profile. |

#323 | FIXED | Tags list on Edit page is not seperated by spaces and hard to read
Description |
On the Edit page for any media, the "Tags" field look like this, no matter if you used commas, spaces or both: :: tag1,tag2,tag3,tag4 Instead, it could use some space between the tags to make it more readable: :: tag1, tag2, tag3, tag4 I've also changed the tag list on media pages to "Tagged with tag1, tag2, tag3, etc", so if we change this they will be consistent in appearance. |

#352 | FIXED | Logo/artwork need visibility, documentation and guidelines
Description |
So here's an interesting post: `http://www.lczajkowski.com/2011/12/08/artwork-for-articles-is-lacking-for-foss-organisations/ <http://www.lczajkowski.com/2011/12/08/artwork-for-articles-is-lacking-for-foss-organisations/>`_ We've already had a number of articles writing about MediaGoblin and hopefully we'll have a lot more. Yet we don't provide them with any graphical material to use. We should make it easy for them to find and use the correct logo (and possibly artwork), both out of courtesy and to maintain consistency. I'd like to: - Create a page that provides a vector version and several different sizes of the latest logo - Add some examples of how to use it properly (color, size, spacing, etc) - Advertise this page, for instance by putting it in the footer on mediagoblin.org, so it's easy to find See for instance the `Fedora logo usage guidelines <http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo/UsageGuidelines>`_ or the `Firefox identity pages <http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/brand/identity/>`_. I'll assign this to me, but I'll need some input on several things: - What would be the best place for this: a wiki page, a spot in the documentation, or a new page on mediagoblin.org? It probably will not (and should not) be updated frequently. - Do we also want to provide artwork for people to use, like our mascot? This might be harder to maintain and a bit excessive. - How are our logo and artwork licensed? |
