Collection descriptions don't support Markdown but pretend they do

Description
To reproduce:
- Edit a collection
- Add Markdown formatting to the description
- Click "Save changes"
- Observe how it doesn't show any formatting
The field "Description of this collection" has a note saying "You can use Markdown for formatting.". That should be removed or Markdown support should be added to collection descriptions.
