In some cases, one wants to go back to "new":

• Maybe one was going from new -> accepted by accident.
• Some tickets have been so long in accepted, that they need a re-evalaution. (One could ask for yet another state, but I tend to like less states, and more tags)

I don't know, whether other states need to be able to go directly to new also. I doubt it. In the worst case, one can go to accepted first and then to new.

• review: Really, there is a patch, it should be looked at. If things are unclear, maybe first go back to accepted or in_progress.
• in_progress: There is something happening. If not, well, go back to accepted first.

There are a number of dependencies that contributors doing development need, but someone installing MediaGoblin for deployment only don't need. For example, py.test, webtest, tox, etc. Can we find a nice way to make these install when someone is doing development only?

When uploading media the user can select a License for his works. The several types of Creative Commons licenses could be explained so the users can make informed decisions which license fits best.

The same could be applied in the „Edit Profile“ screen, where the standard license is set.

This could be accomplished by adding a link "License information" which opens explanations in a pop up for example. The most basic solution could be a link to this external page:
